It still amazes me how a crappy Jesus drawing based on a damn interlude off a Little Brother/DJ Drama mixtape is my most popular deviation on here. Like word? The 2011 Sean is putting his blood sweat and farts in his current work and THAT'S what the people like?

...Sweet.

I swear if the art ever gets me places that I can only think of in my dreams, I'm gonna find a way to contribute back to DA. I don't do shit on here but post up art and leave. Never bought anything, probably said like two or three words in the forums, I'm pretty much basic DA type of member. But the DA community, full of intrigue and inspiration it is.

So yeah, I want to contribute more somehow. Just something that doesn't involve money.

And hopefully something that could land me a job. That would be greatly appreciated.

Something that gets me close to Rosario Dawson or Scarlett Johansson would be even more appreciated.

...F' it. I just want Rosario Dawson and Scarlett Johansson right now.

I know it's been a while but the kid's been busy...
...wait, I'm no kid. I'm all man, baby.

Anyways, if anyone was wondering why the lack of "Revolutionary Times" strips (and if you weren't, you should have been) then the reason is because we found a new home to host up the strips.

[link]

With a new comic to be up EVERY Monday, or what we like to aptly call "New Shit Mondays!"

Also I found a new hosting home for the "The Smack Chronicles" as well...

[link]

Although this one won't be updated as frequently, I'm gonna be shooting for one or two comics a month so keep a look out on that.

Also I'm working on big projects so expect to hear word about those very soon.

...but still, I ain't scared of you motherf**kers! KICK ASS!

So yeah, don't expect any new Dailies until this Friday. See, since this week is the week of EXTREMELYGETTINGREADYFORTHENEWSEMESTERPACKING (yes, all one word) I'm going to be pretty busy. I'm still doing the drawings but I'm a bit too busy to upload them each day. So on Friday expect a whole batch o' Dailies. This theme for all of them is that they're based on song titles. I got this idea while I was watching The Wackness. So yes, expect sketches based off of "Warning," "Bonita Applebum," "Dead Presidents," and other songs that will come to mind.

In the mean time, I'm trying to step my game up so I can get on THIS Sean's level
:iconseangordonmurphy:.
Seriously, dude is a beast right now. I'm concocting an entire post on him for the blog. I mean, not to dickride (pause) or anything. Dude is...just a beast lol. I can't even have the name Sean until I'm on par with him. For now on, my name is Festus.

And as always check out the blog, and...live...uh...life? Yeah, you should all live life. Living is good.

Ah, it's getting close to 10,000. I'ma bake a cake...

But alas, I'm not updating this every few views to the 10.000 mark. I'm updating to let you know that the MAIN blog has got updates, including a sketch breakdown of my Sunday in Flint that hailed in bullets, R. Times updates, a look into my hustle, and a sneak peek of something I'm working on for a prominent Detroit DJ. Oh...and I'm jockin' Jay-Z (pause)

Wow, I never noticed how close to 10,000 views my page have been. That's big to me! Thanks to everyone who keeps looking at the page and checking out the art. I really appreciate it. And I hope to see 10.000 more!

"The Revolutionary Times"
If you haven't read any of the strip by now then "what the !@*# have you done lately" (c) Wesley Gibson (the movie version).

But in all seriousness, me and my partner in crime Brandon Howard are really trying to churn "R. Times" out to the people. No, we're not replacing "The Boondocks," but only paving our own way for our own adventures. This is something like an invasion really. Invading your heads with our tales.

Aside from me uploading the strips on here we also have invaded Myspace [link].

Facebook and the rest of the world is next!

Stay tuned and keep reading. Hopefully you're enjoying them as much as we enjoy cranking them out!

With that, I'm Ghost....face.

I can't do this pixel ID shit for the life of me. I have everything set, the background, the profile, the text...I just can't get the damn sprite down. Sigh...damn, another thing I suck at when it comes to art.

...and now I can't stop seeing the world through pixels. What the fuck, man?

Just letting y'all know you probably won't be seeing any more personal comics from me for a while. I've got a couple of projects that I'm in the process of completing (promos for parties, website logos, and family stuff) so with that I'm putting "Sagnasty Bluez" on hold (that's what I'm thinking of calling these comics I make. That or just "The Bluez") I'll probably be putting up the stuff that I'm working on in DevArt some time later but for now, I'm part of the Departed like Jack Nick (Haha, punchline. I should be a rapper).

Outty 5000 and keep pushing them pencils...

ROBOT BITS N' PIECES:
- R.I.P. to rapper Stack Bundles. Never listened to homie's music aside from when he collaborated with Joe Budden but he was nice on mic. Sad to see another person lost to senseless violence.

- Pharoahe Monch's Desire and Talib Kweli's Eardrum = DOPE
- Fabolous's From Nothin' To Somethin' and R. Kelly's Double Up = MEDIOCRE AT BEST  (both albums have some heaters on there but the rest isn't pleasurable to the ears)

- I'm no longer interested in the Fantastic Four sequel. Why, you ask? Oh, it has Galactus....but as a damn storm cloud. Yeah, definitely not seeing it. Transformers, let's GO!

- Knocked Up is a great and hilarious flick. Every one should definitely check that out.

Well, the artistic dry spell is almost over (thank you "VenomSmack") but I'm seeking new a opportunity, mainly those dealing with a more..."animated' approach to things. Yes, after constantly watching more animation (The Iron Giant is still THAT deal) nowadays I've become intrigued to convert my works into animation. This and constant pleas to do so by one of the heads who run the Illustration department at CCS have put the thought of doing so in my brain.

But how can I do this? I can select Animation as my minor until I head back to CCS and that's not until August, and my impatient self wants to get it cracking right now. So my first step is looking into doing a little something on Flash for now. But that's another thing: I only did a few things in flash like the (deceased) website (damn, I miss that masterpiece) and...yeah that's about it. So as you can see I'm feeling like a n00b playing his first ever round of Halo (and I should know that...since I've never played Halo). So you can see my current dilemma. I think I shall focus more of this current goal since getting a job is basically not happening (fuck you Saginaw jobs. Fuck you up your stupid asses).

Right now, I'm just trying to find any good books on Flash animation and in animation in general. If I was back at CCS I know there would be a truckload waiting for me in the library but since I'm not I need to improvise. If anybody out there knows of any books that I might want to look into feel free to put your two cents in. But until then, I will continue to look at The Iron Giant and Bebe's Kids in awe. Adios.

Since I've been back I've been in quite of a drawing rust you could say. I'm not really that motivated to draw anything (that and I've been in an not so excited for shit mood lately). I need something to get my damn artistic spirit up so I've been cruising through my regular art sites (here, random comic artists' sites/blogs, etc) to find something, anything that inspires me and nothing has activated that "Sean, get off your ass and draw something" function of my body. Ah well, hopefully this dry spell will get itself wet soon.

Anyways, that website I was talking about earlier when posting those logos I developed is finally up. You can see it here: [link]. It was a project between me and my friend Brittany (you seen her in my drawings on here before) who is a web developer and great one might I say. We're trying to do more together in the future so we'll see what happens. Just can't wait for that  ol' motherfuckin' logo check (yes Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) to come this week :).

In the mean time, hope y'all can keep up the good art even though I can't.

Since I have nothing better to update with, I bring to y'all cats this very important Public Servant Announcement: I suggest anyone who owns a PS2 to find their local GameStop, EB Games, Best Buy, Media Play, whatever, and allow yourself a copy of God of War II because this game...damn. I can't even explain to you people of the glory that this game possesses. You will just have to witness for yourself. Just go, go and buy God of War II right now. With this and 300 still plaguing my mind, it's a wonder how I can even pass college at this point and time.

But yeah, that is all peoples. Adios.

EDIT: Oh yeah, 300 + the resurrection of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the big sceen + Spider-Man III + (MAYBE) Transformers = '07 is the Year of the Nerd. It's REVENGE!
