It's been a minute since I've crept up on these DeviantArt streets hasn't it? A lot of things done a'changed since last time. Last journal post I was listening to JYoung The General, now he's known as Jahshua Smith. The Revolutionary Times took bit of a hiatus because of searching for jobs and whatnot, and I ended up doing my first graphic novel called "KOBK" with C.J. Johnson in the meantime. RT is prepping to come back this year (as soon as our website situation is handled) and I'm doing weekly rap comics over at Complex magazine with writer Shea Serrano. I released my first art book in years called The Red Book and people seemed to love it

It still amazes me how a crappy Jesus drawing based on a damn interlude off a Little Brother/DJ Drama mixtape is my most popular deviation on here. Like word? I swear if the art ever gets me places that I can only think of in my dreams, I'm gonna find a way to contribute back to DA. I don't do shit on here but post up art and leave. Never bought anything, probably said like two or three words in the forums, I'm pretty much basic DA type of member. But the DA community, full of intrigue and inspiration it is. So yeah, I want to contribute more somehow. Just something that doesn't involve money. And hopefully something that could land me a job. That would be greatly appreciated. Something that gets me close to Rosario Dawson or Scarlett Johansson would be even more appreciated. ...F' it. I just w
